We are looking forward to a great year of performances, guest artists, dance days at school, field trips and much more with our dedicated SOA dance faculty!
Supporting all this greatness is you, our dance parents, through the SOA Dance Booster Club! We assist throughout the school year with fundraising and volunteering. The Booster Club’s support allows the dance department to provide meals to dancers when the schedule requires that they stay after school before a performance, arrange guest artists, purchase new equipment and supplies like barres and marley not provided by CCSD, provide costuming and props for performances, enlist videographers and photographers to capture the live moments, celebrate our dancers’ achievements and much more. The SOA Dance Booster Club does a lot behind the scenes and we can’t do it without you!
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
- Pay your dancer’s annual Dance Fees of $200. This fee covers part of the cost for a dancer’s year at SOA. Fees are due by September 1, 2025 and can be paid by cash, check or Paypal. The fee may be split into two payments of $100 – due September 1, 2025 and December 1, 2025. If you pay by August 22, 2025, there is a $50 discount.

- Join the Booster Board. Email soadanceboosters@gmail.com if you are interested in a VACANT position. Many positions can be shared by 2 or more parents.

- President: VACANT – Presides over meetings, creates agenda, attends quarterly principal’s cabinet meetings with Dr. Cook, confers with teachers on the current and following school year planning, line up help from the Board for booster club needs, makes sure all duties are performed.

- Secretary: VACANT – Take and publish minutes for the meetings, keep parents informed of events

- Fundraising Chairmen: VACANT – Identify fundraisers students can participate in, help to

- Meal Coordinator: VACANT – Order meals for dancers, tech crew, teachers and volunteers when needed for after school rehearsals & performances, keep snacks & water for department on site
