Linda Cline has been dancing for more than 45 years. Her extensive experience began in New York City as a dancer and choreographer. She studied with Patricia Wild, Olga Merinova, Merce Cunningham, and Lenore Latimer. She performed with Saeko Ichinohe and Dancers, Phyllis Rose and Dancers, Mark Dendy, Amanda Lynn, and Feats, along with many other independent choreographers. Linda has received numerous scholarships to attend summer long festivals allowing her to study with Doug Varone, Felice Wolfzhan, Chris Aiken, and Nancy Stark Smith. Upon moving to the Southeast, Linda entered the field of dance education. She taught at Hilton Head High School for 5 years and has been teaching at SOA since 2001. She has an MA from Wesleyan University in Connecticut. Linda is the lead dance teacher for CCSD and continues to expose the wonderful dancers at SOA to the community, the state, and nationally.
