Talent competition, Feb. 1st

Denisse A. Santos, D.M.A.
Visual & Performing Arts Coordinator:
“I have been working with representatives from a local Mu Alpha Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity to put together a Talent Hunt for students in our area! This is an exciting opportunity for students to compete in their Arts area in the style of popular TV shows like The Voice and America’s Got Talent.
The competition is being held at Fox Music House on Dorchester Road on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. This competition is for high school students who would like to compete in the Arts areas of music, dance, drama, or visual art.
Students interested in registering for the competition need to fill out the attached forms and submit them where indicated on the forms. Students need to also make sure they look over the rules of the competition and be fully prepared (ie: music must be memorized, head shot is required along with 100 word essay . . . ).
I am looking forward to seeing our students shine in this competition, and ask you to encourage your students to be a part of it! This competition is not limited to students of any particular color, race, ethnicity, or gender. All high school students are welcome to perform! Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be awareded, including cash and scholarship money!
If you have any questions about this event, please contact the coordinator of the event, Mr. Eduard Weathers at eduard.weathers4@gmail.com. or at (404) 312-7285.
Looking forward to seeing many of our students there!”
